The State Library of Queensland is running a 📘 ‘How do you library?’ 📗 campaign
until the end of November 2025.

‘How do you library?’ encourages Queenslanders from Cape York to Cunnamulla and all of us here in the Douglas Shire to make the most of their library's free spaces, activities and resources, which nurture creativity, connection and lifelong learning.

Whether you are helping us complete a puzzle, building LEGO towers with your kids, discovering local history, joining a First 5 Forever storytime session, or developing a new skill, there is something for everyone at Douglas Libraries both in Mossman and Port Douglas.

Family Fun Day☀️

Mossman Youth Centre is hosting a free Community Family Fun Day for Queensland Child Protection Week, and we’d love you, your families, and your organisations/networks to join us.

It’ll be a relaxed afternoon with activities, sports, a kids disco, stalls (get in touch with Mossman Youth Centre if you would like to have one at the event!), and plenty of time to connect with local services and families.

The focus is simple: raising awareness about child protection and building safe, supportive spaces for kids in our community💛
