Financial empowerment starts with education, support, and informed decision-making.
The NDIS announced that 1.42 million dollars will be made available to Inclusion Australia from the Australian Government. This funding is to help people with intellectual disability access practical resources that strengthen supported financial decision-making, ultimately promoting greater independence & autonomy.
As plan managers, we know that understanding your funding is one of the most powerful tools in protecting your plan and achieving your goals.
NDIS Minister, Senator Jenny McAllister said “This grant will fund resources that empower people with intellectual disability to have that support and ensure they have appropriate assistance by their side. It’s an important step in safeguarding the rights and increasing the autonomy of people with disability”
When participants are equipped with the right information and trusted support, they’re better positioned to make choices that work for them, today and into the future. ☀️
