Hi, I'm Tiffany!

I have a background as a university lecturer focusing on literacy development in young children.
I have spent several years as a tutor of adult Indigenous students, and I am profoundly grateful for the insight into the interplay between culture and learning. I have also worked together with an Indigenous mentor to develop curriculum resources (mathematics) for teachers that both meet Australian Curriculum objectives and incorporate Indigenous pedagogies.

More recently, I have worked with children with speech-sound production difficulties, developmental language disorder, autism, global developmental delay and children with various communication-related difficulties.

I have a special interest and skill set in supporting children with dyslexia and being creative in the way that I work to engage children and bring joy to learning.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children, cooking, hiking, swimming, reading and travelling. If I wasn't being a speech pathologist (which is hard to imagine as I love it so much) I think I'd like being an archaeologist!

šŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Olivia!

I’m a Master’s student in play therapy and currently in my final year of study. I’ve been working at the clinic as a Developmental Educator since last year, supporting children and their families in a therapeutic setting.

I’ve lived in the Hills for over 20 years with my husband, where we’ve been busy raising our three wonderful teenagers. As a family, we love going on travel adventures and making memories together.

Before returning to study, I spent many years working in early childhood settings while raising my young family. After the pandemic, I felt a strong pull to deepen my knowledge and therapeutic skills—which led me back to study and back into my role as a Developmental Educator.

Now, combining my background in disability support with Play Therapy has been the perfect blend. These dual roles allow me to draw on a wide range of experience to support children in creative, meaningful ways—especially through the powers of play.

If I wasn’t doing this, I’d love to work in animal-assisted therapy—bringing together my two passions: therapy and animals! 🐾

Hi, I'm Georgie šŸ‘‹

I'm a psychologist working with kids, teens, adults and families. I grew up in the Hills and moved away interstate when I was 19. I have lived in Melbourne, Airlie Beach, the Byron Shire, and now I've circled back to my home town here in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

I have three children. We love road trips and camping.

I love my job, I love how I get to learn all the time. If I wasn't doing this, I imagine I would want to work outside as an environmental scientist or maybe I'd work in the arts industry in festivals or something groovy like that!

A little reminder to allow some extra time coming to see us over the next few months. Our street (Stephen street) is currently completely closed so it’s best to access the carpark from the Aldi shopping centre side and walk up.
It’s a bit noisy but most children have been thrilled thus far, imagining zooming up and down the dirt mounds on their bikes and digging up old treasures from the ground!

Hi, I'm Helen! Alongside Rose, I am one of the founders and owners of Adelaide Hills Child and Family Therapy.

I am a child and family psychotherapist and play therapist here at the clinic and a lecturer in the Master of Child Play Therapy at Deakin University. Outside of the clinic, my two beautiful boys, niece, nephew, family and friends keep me busy!

I have lived in the Adelaide Hills for the past 10 years and I can't imagine living anywhere else- but we do love to get out bush as often as we can. Previously I have worked in school settings and in remote community settings in the APY Lands, supporting young people and their families. I love working to support children to feel seen and valued for who they are and working to empower parents to understand and support their children and see them thrive!

If I ever chose to pursue a different career- which I may do when my children are older- I would love to be a midwife! I strongly believe that supporting women to have a positive birth experience provides the best start possible for motherhood. If you call or email, it's likely me you'll find on the other side!

We thought now that our team has grown- we better introduce ourselves!
Hi! I'm Rose, one of the founders and owners here at Adelaide Hills Child and Family Therapy.

I am a social worker and play therapist, a mum of two daughters, an aunty to a teenage boy and girl whom I love like my own and I have a german shepherd dog who is a gentle giant.
I have always lived in the Adelaide Hills aside from 2 years living in Port Augusta for my first social work position, which I loved and learnt so much from.

I love my job as I get to support children and families through challenges in a really gentle and holistic way.
If I wasn't in this job, I'd probably own an indoor plant shop, be a real estate agent or an interior designer. I love making spaces feel inviting (I'm the one you'll see carting plants in and out of the clinic!)

**Clinic access 5th May onwards**
Hello lovely families, please consider allowing an extra few minutes getting to your appointments with us over the coming weeks, construction work is commencing on the 5th of May. Whilst efforts will be made to minimise disruption to the clinic, driving down Stephen street and parking may take a little longer. There will be some noise so you may wish to give your child some warning if they are sensitive to noise.
The work being undertaken is to improve the street so we are looking forward to the end result.
Any little ones who love trucks and diggers will be pleased!
