It’s so great to have Simone and the girls using the community space at My Glory for Courageous Girls Club!
While I’m in the office I get to hear and see the beautiful conversations and creations as they learn about being courageous and create amazing artwork to take home!
Today was particularly good as they (we ☺️) learned about just being ourselves, being perfectly imperfect and a big one…..The Power of Yet!
Thanks Simone! I learned a lot about myself today too.
Parents - I highly recommend you contact Simone to find out more about how she connects with young girls and helps them feel confident and courageous 💜💜💜

🌻EDIT - Thank you to the lovely people who came yesterday to say hi and pick up their sunflower items - we have a few wristbands left and I have ordered more lanyards - will keep you posted when more arrive 🌻 We have lanyards and wristbands available at the My Glory office. It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.

Resourcing Inclusive Communities is an initiative of Family Advocacy that provides information and resources to assist people with disability to live meaningful lives, as valued members of their communities. Inclusive communities are diverse and are made better when all people are actively involved and able to make a contribution.

We provide capacity building to assist people with disability to live meaningful lives, as valued members of their communities.

Courageous Girls Club
Thank you to Simone and the gorgeous girls who came together today to discover and celebrate their strengths and what makes them unique. It was so lovely to hear the the laughter and see the girls participating in the program today in the My Glory Community Space. Hopefully many more to come 🥰
