Thriving Kids = big changes for early support. Here’s what it means for your family.

The Government has announced Thriving Kids — a new program to deliver foundational supports for children under 9 with mild–moderate developmental delay or autism outside the NDIS.

What matters now:

If your child is on the NDIS, they stay on it during the transition.

Supports will be delivered through GPs, child health, early learning and schools.

Rollout begins from 2026, with full implementation to follow.
