The ideal facility or service would provide attentive, respectful care and a safe, supportive environment.

A Moment for Me

As a carer and support worker, I’m so used to giving to others but today, I gave a little time back to myself through an inspiring art therapy session.

It was powerful to slow down, reset, and just create. Even more special was seeing the amazing artwork that came out of today’s session so much emotion and expression on every page.

Selfcare is vital in this work. Today reminded me why.

What an incredible day at Supernova! The energy, creativity, and community spirit were out of this world. From dazzling costumes to unforgettable moments, it was a celebration of self expression, joy, and connection.

We loved seeing everyone shine in their own unique way whether it was through bold fashion, dancing, or simply showing up as their authentic selves. Events like this are a powerful reminder that inclusion means everyone gets to be part of the fun.

A big thank you to all who made the day so special. Your smiles, your style, and your energy lit up the entire space. Can’t wait to do it again!

NOW HIRING: Casual Support Workers (ABN – Self Employed Subcontractors)

We are seeking dedicated and professional casual support workers (ABN holders only) for aged care and disability support roles.

This is a subcontractor opportunity flexible hours,and meaningful work in your local community.

REQUIREMENTS (ABN/Self Employed Subcontractors):

You MUST hold or be willing to provide the following:

Mandatory Documents:

Valid ABN (Australian Business Number)
Current National Police Check (within 12 months)
Working With Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
First Aid & CPR Certificate
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (minimum 2 doses; boosters preferred)
Manual handling and infection control training (preferred)
Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle (for community support)

You will also be required to:

Read and sign our Policies & Procedures Manual
Sign the Subcontractor Agreement

Submit the following Self Employment Documents:
Copy of your ABN registration
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability

We are Looking for:

Independent, reliable, and respectful support workers
Comfortable working under a subcontracting arrangement
Able to follow care plans and report professionally
Excellent communication and time management skills
