It is with great sadness, we announce Dr Teng-Kiong Kek passed away peacefully on Saturday, 10 January 2026.
Dr Kek was a deeply respected medical practitioner whose dedication, compassion, and professionalism touched the lives of countless patients, colleagues, and members of the community spanning over an amazing 42 years at Mount Druitt Medical Centre. Throughout his career, he was known not only for his clinical expertise, but also for his kindness, humility, and genuine care for others.
He will be remembered as a devoted doctor, friend, a valued colleague, and a mentor to many. His commitment to medicine and to the wellbeing of those he served leaves a lasting legacy.
Dr Kek will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he impacted. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements will be advised as soon as possible.

Just a quick update. Still no power and Endeavour energy have advised power may come on at 8pm tonight.
We will make a new post tomorrow morning.

Due to the storm and a tree taking out the powerlines , the practice currently has no power or phones and is now closed.
Hopefully we will have power in the morning.
