Welcoming you to a weekly 75-min hatha yoga practice. Finding union with the body, mind and breath through gentle movement, breathing practices, chanting and meditation.

🪷 Thursdays
🪷 9:30am - 10:45am
🪷 $35 per class / $30 concession
🪷 All levels of experience welcome, beginner friendly!

💮Discounted rate: If booking 6 classes together pay ✨$180 for 6 classes (save $30)/$160 concession (save $20)✨

Classes will run weekly from the 26th of Feb, with the last class for this term on the 2nd of April (26/2, 5/3, 12/3, 19/3, 26/3, 2/4).

Come immerse yourself in our Rest & Renew Day Retreat.

A day of gentle yoga - restorative, nidra and yin yoga along with guided meditations. These practices will be infused with sound & mantra to support body mind and soul.

Let us guide you to a journey inwards and reconnect with yourself & your breath allowing you to find your flow in movement, sound/vibration, stillness & rest in the delightful Dashanti Yoga Studio in Mt Evelyn giving you an opportunity to release, reinvigorate, restore and re-align.

No yoga, mediation or sound yoga experience necessary.
Come as you are, all levels welcome.

All mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets & eye pillows provided and a nourishing morning tea with bottomless tea and coffee available for your enjoyment.

BYO lunch or checkout the many delicious cafes nearby. There is a gorgeous little park to sit just across the road and theres a mini fridge and microwave available at the studio.

Rest & Renew Retreat Location:-

Dashanti Yoga Studio in Mt Evelyn.

DETAILS:-

🧘‍♀️Yoga:- Yin, Nidra, Hatha & Restorative

☮️ Meditation:- Guided & Movement

🎼Sound:- Percussion Instruments, Tibetan Bowls,
🎤Medicine Drum, Vocals, Songs & Dancing.

🗣️Breathwork:- Practices, Move and Breathe as one.

*INCLUSIONS:-

*All props:- bolsters, blocks, cushions, blankets, eye pillows & mats.

Sue and I have created a day to allow space for you to just be.

Imagine giving yourself a day to reset.

A day for your body and mind to unwind into stillness.

How? Yoga is both the path and the destination.

Simple Yoga practices that are nourishing, restorative &
easily accessable are the keystone of our day together.

In the afternoon, we enjoy moving into a song circle
along with mantra recitation.

Participants are often surprised at just how
joyful these sessions can be.

Making sound with our voices or percussion is often
a heartfelt way to experience community.

1 M I N — P R A C T I C E, we’ve got time for that right?

Try this:

• for a standing practice — ground into feet. one hand resting over the heart, one hand resting over the belly.

• for a seated practice — tune into your body, notice all the points of your base where you connect to ground. hands resting on knees, palms open to sky.

🌊 r e p e a t — for 4 cycles

you may like to take a another few rounds, extending to e i g h t b r e a t h s is just a 2 - 3 min practice and is such a lovely reset throughout the day as well as getting into alignment with yourself upon rising.

Such a pleasure to teach Slow Flow in the beautiful Wedgetail room at Yarra Valley Estate today.

Kept perfectly warm, with the sound of rain gently falling outside and into the lush surrounding forest. Whilst inside we explored dynamic and intentional breath-focused movement.

Cultivating good space and an inner calm to carry into the weekend.
