LCA Getaways vibes 🌅🍕

What a perfect way to wrap up an epic day!
Our LCA Getaway crew turned into MasterChefs tonight, whipping up their very own homemade pizzas (and enjoying every bite 😋). After a massive day of waterpark fun, we headed out for a relaxing beach walk, soaking in the fresh air and finishing the day with the most beautiful sunset.

Smiles, laughter, full bellies and tired happy faces — the best kind of getaway moments 💙
These experiences are what LCA Getaways are all about… building confidence, friendships, independence and creating memories that last a lifetime.

🌞💦 FUN, LAUGHS & MEMORIES MADE! 💦🌞

A few more snaps from an absolutely epic day at the water park!
Sunshine, water, rides, BIG laughs and fun fun fun — the weather was perfect and the guys had an absolute ball 🙌

After a huge day out, it was back to the accommodation for homemade pizzas 🍕 and a games night full of laughs and friendly competition. Safe to say… we think everyone will sleep very well tonight 😴

Days like this really show what LCA Getaways are all about — creating incredible opportunities for our guys to get away, have fun, build friendships with peers, and enjoy new experiences in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

A massive shout-out to our amazing LCA staff 👏 who go above and beyond to make weekends like this so special. The care, encouragement and fun they bring truly make these getaways unforgettable.

When the weather’s out, the LCA Getaway crew is making the most of it and playing hard!** 🎉💦

Yesterday morning, the **LCA Getaway crew** jumped on the bus full of excitement and big smiles, ready for a fun-filled weekend away! 🚌🎶
With great music pumping, endless chats, and plenty of laughs along the way, the crew set off for **Geelong**, making a few stops before arriving happy, relaxed, and ready to dive into the adventure.

After settling into our accommodation, everyone freshened up and headed out to enjoy a **lovely and delicious meal** and the joy of friendship at **Buckley’s** 🍽️💙
Full bellies, great conversations, and lots of laughter made for the perfect end to day one, followed by a restful night’s sleep.

✨ **The excitement was high this morning!**
The day began with a wholesome, feel-good breakfast — bacon and eggs, toast and spreads, cereals, muffins, juice, and fresh fruit 🍳🥓🍓
Well fuelled and full of anticipation, the crew then headed off for a **fun-filled day of rides, splashes, and smiles at the Geelong Waterpark** 💦🎢

These getaway weekends are about so much more than just having fun (although there’s plenty of that too!). They are a wonderful opportunity for our guys to **build friendships, grow confidence, build capacity, and develop independence**, all while trying new experiences in a supportive and encouraging environment.

With the support of the **fantastic LCA Getaway crew**, we make sure **everyone is included, everyone feels safe, and everyone is having the best time possible** 🌟💙

Our Sports & Games Wednesday activities are well underway, with activity plans thoughtfully designed by our very own Eva, who holds a Sports Science degree. This means each session is carefully planned to suit the abilities of all our participants, with clear goals and positive outcomes in mind.

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to:
✔️ Have fun in a supportive environment
✔️ Build peer friendships and meaningful connections
✔️ Grow confidence and try new skills
✔️ Develop new abilities through engaging, structured activities

Dan had an incredible experience this morning with a behind-the-scenes tour of the firefighting aircraft. He was treated like a VIP — shown around by the boss himself and given the opportunity to chat with the pilots.

Safe to say, the smile on his face said it all! Experiences like these are such a powerful reminder of what’s possible when opportunities, inclusion and confidence come together.

Fun was had by all at LCA Day Options, with the air con cranked up, lots of laughs, and a relaxed day spent keeping cool. Nothing beats hands-on fun, sweet treats, and great company on a hot day 💙✨
