2025 – A Year of Growth, Expansion & Teamwork 👏

What a year it has been for our Mount Gambier team!

In 2025, we proudly welcomed Chantel to Sound Audiology as our new full-time Audiologist. With over 7 years of experience, Chantel has brought incredible knowledge, warmth and clinical expertise to our community. We are so lucky to have her on the team.

This year also marked a big expansion in our services. We are now supporting:
• Paediatric assessments for children 9 months and above
• APD (Auditory Processing Disorder) assessments
• Vertigo and balance assessments (introduced later in the year)

Being able to offer these services locally means families in our region can access more specialised care, closer to home.

We also welcomed Amy, who joined us as a casual specialist for a few months before heading north. We loved having her as part of the team and appreciate the experience and care she brought to our clients during her time with us.

2025 has truly been a fantastic year of growth, collaboration and strengthening our Mount Gambier team. We are proud of how far we’ve come — and excited for what’s ahead.

2024 💫 A Year of Strength & Expansion

We proudly welcomed Matthew to our Colac team — our trusted Hearing Specialist whose passion for family-centred care aligns perfectly with the ethics and values Sound Audiology was built on. Having someone who genuinely cares about the whole family journey has been such a powerful addition to our clinic.

We also made another exciting move… relocating to 50 Sturt Street — our new full-time home. Now open 5 days a week, we’re able to better serve our community with greater accessibility, consistency, and support.

From team growth to a permanent space, 2024 has been about building strong foundations for the future.

2023 ✨ A Year of Growth

In 2023, we took a leap and began working out of Open Door Health, expanding Sound Audiology into Mount Gambier.

What started as an exciting opportunity quickly became something so much bigger than we ever imagined. The support from the Mount Gambier community was incredible, and demand for our services grew faster than we expected.

Before long… we had outgrown the space.

So began the search for a new location — one that could match the growth, the vision, and the future we see for hearing care in this region.

2023 was the year we realised just how much Mount Gambier needed us — and we’re only just getting started. 💙

In 2022, Helen — our much-loved receptionist — joined Sound Audiology.

Helen not only seems to know everyone, but with her background in nursing she quickly became an incredible asset to our Colac team. Her care, patience and understanding of people shines through in everything she does.

She’s also our quiet tech expert — building, troubleshooting and fixing hearing aids behind the scenes — and the friendly voice you hear on the phones, keeping our bookings and days running smoothly.

We truly couldn’t imagine the clinic without her.

We also started the process of expansion with inspections of potential clinics at Mount Gambier, SA🤩
