Ferrers Medical Clinic would like to confirm that we will continue to operate as a mixed billing clinic. We are not moving to full bulk billing, and our existing billing policy and fees will remain unchanged.

With the recent changes to government billing arrangements, we’d like to highlight that Medicare rebates for bulk-billed services often do not cover the full cost of providing quality care.

Over the years, the costs of running a medical practice have risen considerably, while Medicare rebates have not kept pace with inflation or the real expenses involved in healthcare delivery.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.

Its 𝖱 𝖴 𝖮𝖪? Day! 🌼🌻

You might see our staff in yellow today around the clinic, to start the conversation about R U OK? Day.

Although we like to ask our colleagues, friends and family how they are doing frequently. Today is a dedicated day known as R U OK? Day!

What is R U OK? - A national su***de prevention charity and registered public health promotion that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times.

R U OK? contributes to su***de prevention efforts by encouraging people to invest more time in their personal relationships and building the capacity of informal support networks – friends, family and colleagues - to be alert to those around them, have a conversation if they identify signs of distress or difficulty and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis.

Remember to check up on your mates and family and always remember yourself, one alot of us forget.

Click the link to visit the R U OK? page if you or someone you know needs support, the link below will take you directly to the "How to ask" page! 👇🏼
