About Ferrers Medical Clinic:
Ferrers Medical Clinic is a well-established, large medical practice located in the beautiful regional city of Mount Gambier. Our clinic boasts a collaborative and supportive team, currently comprising 7 General Practitioners (GPs), 3 Registered Nurses (RNs), 1 Enrolled Nurse (EN), and 8 friendly medical receptionists. We provide high-quality healthcare services to the local community and are looking to welcome a skilled and passionate General Practitioner to our team.

Position Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our diverse team at Ferrers Medical Clinic. As a GP, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Your role will involve diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of health conditions, as well as providing preventative care and patient education. The successful candidate will work alongside a strong and supportive team of professionals, with access to the latest medical equipment and resources to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality general medical care to patients, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine check-ups, health assessments, and preventative health screenings.
• Work closely with other GPs, Nurses, and support staff to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Manage patient records, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and their families, ensuring patient education and understanding.
• Participate in continuing professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge in general practice and medical advances.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in general practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all backgrounds.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Remuneration & Benefits:
• Remuneration: $150,000 – $250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
