Here at Ferrers we pride ourselves on excellence and patient focussed service. Our 3 Partners , 2 Associates and 3 Registrars offer the community a wide range of health services. We also have a branch clinic operating at Port MacDonnell 1 afternoons per week for those residents. Our fully computerised practice offers remote access to doctors visiting nursing homes and for doctors home use. We have a Broadband system and use Intranet extensively within the clinic.

Cervical screenings tests save lives!!

Our next nurse lead cervical screening clinic is 16th February 2026.

Cervical screening tests are an important way to reduce the risk of cervical cancer. The test looks at HPV ( human papillomavirus), which can cause changes that may lead to cervical cancer if left untreated.

-screening is recommended every 5 years
- suitable for eligible patients, even if you feel well
- quick procedure preformed by our trained registered nurse at the clinic.

BreastScreen SA's mobile screening unit is heading to Mount Gambier from 27 January to 2 July.

Women aged over 40, especially 50 to 74, are invited to book a free appointment while the mobile screening unit is in town. A breast screen takes just 15 minutes and can detect breast cancer at an early stage, before it can be felt.

After careful consideration, Ferrers Medical Clinic is pleased to announce that our books are now open to new patients. Dr Joey, Dr Ashley, and Dr Ignat are currently taking new patients.

Please complete a New Patient Registration Form and Written authority form.
Return the completed forms in person at the clinic or via email to: ferrersclinic@ferrers.com.au
