Our Story

South East Funeral Services was founded in 1971, operating from Sturt Street, Mount Gambier, moving to its current location 1 White Avenue, Mount Gambier, in 1975 and has been service the Limestone Coast of SA and Western District of Victoria ever since. At South East Funerals Services, our trained Funeral Consultants are available to guide you in your selection of a funeral service which meets the needs of your loved one, the family and their beliefs. Funeral arrangements may be made in our office at either 1 White Avenue, Mount Gambier or 21 Henty Street, Casterton, or in the privacy of your own home at a time convenient to you. Our staff will relieve you of any unnecessary burden, taking care of all the detailed arrangements in a professional and caring manner. The choice of burial or cremation, location or format is yours; our staff will assist you to design the funeral as a fitting tribute to your loved one. We have available, our non-denominational Chapel suitable for private family funerals or advertised services. Our Refreshment Lounge is accessible for ‘after funeral’ gatherings. Where necessary, we can assist with the selection of a suitable memorial. We are at your service 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
