I am not sure where the time has gone but we are already here organising a return to work ✨

As you may have heard, our beautiful space at The Nourish Nook is closing. I have had a lot of messages to ask what this means for us at Soul P&M. Please see below a little summary.

🤲🏼 returning to part time hours for nov-jan
🤲🏼 I will be working from home for this period
🤲🏼 appointments will be reserved for existing clients
🤲🏼 contact us to go on a waitlist for these

After navigating a few months of what days/hours suit us and you guys, we will make some more permanent plans for the remainder of 2026 with hopefully more availability and a new home.

I have absolutely enjoyed every minute of MAT leave with Vallee & I am hoping to find a nice balance of mum and work life in the next few months.

Last night, as part of the Limestone Coast Women’s Health Collective, we hosted a night discussing all things Perimenopause & Menopause.

With a room filled with 100+ women, we had a panel of local women’s health professionals cover the following topics
🤲🏼 a medical overview
🤲🏼 diet considerations
🤲🏼 exercising during this phase of life
🤲🏼 environmental toxins + hormones
🤲🏼 managing your mental health
🤲🏼 abnormal uterine bleeding

The aim of the night was to get everyone together, create understanding & awareness, as well as make known, the places to find help & guidance 💫

👋🏼 and I’m off on MAT leave 💛

Finishing off with clients in clinic today & tidying up some admin for the remainder of the week.

Soul will be paused for the remainder of 2025 at this stage. We will be back in clinic in Jan 2026.

Thank you for all the advice, gifts and support over the last few months. We have a beautiful support network around us & we can’t wait for what’s to come for our little family 👶🏼

The Elle TENS is now available for labour hire 🫶🏼

TENS machines provide safe & effective natural pain relief during labour. It works by producing light electrical pulses to the nervous system. This encourages the body to focus on this stimulus over the stimulus of contractions, reducing their intensity. It also releases endorphins, the bodies natural pain relief.

Hire cost : $10per week + new pads
Hire options: 3-6weeks (4weeks recommended)

Each hire will include

🤲🏼 four brand new pads
🤲🏼 fresh batteries
🤲🏼 instructions booklet

May & June are booked, with the next available booking late July.

I was going to hold off with this, but with the baby boom I can’t keep this all to myself, meaning this service will remain available while I’m on leave 🥰

A few little notes as I approach mat leave ✨

🤲🏼 I am away next week leading into Easter
🤲🏼 april is now fully booked in & around the public holidays
🤲🏼 l will be working a few weeks into May to get everyone sorted

We will place our last order for tape, spikey balls & peanut balls next week, so please reach out if you need anything. We also have limited supply of our magnesium spray & magnesium gel.

The perfect ‘in between’ treatment tool
The spikey ball

Ideal for any medium to large muscle group, it can provide relief from pain & tightness when placing it stationary and letting time do its thing or (my favourite) with moving the muscle through range.

This little guy has provided my glutes a lot of relief as their role of stability increases throughout pregnancy.

Available in clinic, along with the peanut ball that’s suited for small muscle areas or the spine 🙌🏼

Excited to see what we can get done in the first half of this year and then equally excited to see what the second half of the year has in store for us outside of work.

Ell & I are excited to finally share our news, that we are expecting our first little one in the middle of 2025 👶🏼

I’m so thankful that I’ve been feeling pretty good in the mornings which has made looking after you guys during this time a little easier. Can not say the same for the arvos though, growing a little human is hard work!

Running has officially puffed me out, but I am still prioritising my Pilates and strength work and I’m looking forward to putting my physio knowledge into practice on myself and taking you guys along for the ride.

As for work in the new year, I will not be in clinic on Thursdays, but otherwise will continue on as normal for now. Please dm me any questions you might have.

ACL rehab can feel very overwhelming. We break the rehab into stages with certain goals and focus to give you something little to focus on at a time.

What can you expect from us and your journey?

For the first six months
🤲🏼 post op management
🤲🏼 strength and balance work
🤲🏼 single leg control + running biomechanics
🤲🏼 jumping and landing techniques

If you are travelling along well, I get people to jump back into their normal exercise routine for a few months, have a break from ‘physio’ specific work and enjoy some strength and cardio for another reasons than your knee rehab.

From 8months onwards
🤲🏼 (depending on your goals) 9-10months ACL testing
🤲🏼 rehab specific work based off these findings
🤲🏼 return to sport testing

& then it’s back to sport, life, the gym or whatever you have in mind!

This is just a little curtesy announcement that my books for full for new clients for the remainder of 2024.

I understand this is frustrating, but with my nov calendar almost completely full and the busy rush leading into dec, I need to allow time and space for my current clients to be given the time and treatment they require.

I will still be taking on any new running assessments remotely as well as both my 6 & 12week running programs.

I will also have a waitlist that you are welcome to jump on if last minute appointments become available.
