👨‍👧‍👦☕A trio of Mount Isa dads is helping give new energy to a local Dads Group.

Dads of Mount Isa has been running for about a year, previously supported by a national worker flying in to facilitate sessions.

Now, three local men are helping keep the group active on the ground 👉 local barber Shane Griffin, Daniel Jacobs from Outback Mind Men’s Circles, and Sunset State School principal James Morley.

Shane said the group provides a space for men to talk openly, whether that’s about fatherhood, work, relationships, or other pressures.

"Just take the step, come down and let’s have a chat.”

📅 Dads of Mount Isa meet the third Sunday of the month, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, at Lil Rish Playcentre.
