🌟 Big NDIS Changes Coming – Support Coordinators & SIL Providers 🌟

From 1 July 2025, Support Coordinators and Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers will need to be registered with the NDIS Commission.

✅ What this means:

All Support Coordinators & SIL providers must register.

Providers who aren’t registered will need to apply within 3 months.

They’ll also need to complete an audit within 12 months.

Support Coordination will sit under one group (0132).

💡 Why?
These changes are to improve safety, quality and oversight following the Disability Royal Commission and other reviews.

⚠️ Some concerns:

May reduce choice for participants.

Could be harder for small/peer-led providers.

Extra admin work for providers.
