✅ Putting 200mm of clean soil on top of a barrier, such as shade cloth to prevent the chickens from accessing the soil below.
✅ Building chicken yards with a concrete floor, topped with a 100-150mm layer of straw, wood shavings or rice hulls.
✅ Providing a wading pool filled with clean soil for dust bathing.
✅ Ensuring chicken yards are constructed with lead-free materials.
