We’re proud to share an important milestone for our Specialist Rehabilitation Services (SRS) team.

Our SRS department has officially begun the transition from operating as a private service to delivering public services in partnership with the State.

To mark this significant moment, our dedicated caregivers and hospital leaders came together for a special lunch, celebrating the journey so far and the impact ahead.

Thank you to everyone involved for your commitment, compassion, and support as we take this next step forward. 💙

A beautiful example of the thoughtful care provided in our Ursula Frayne Unit.

Recently, patients enjoyed a calming origami activity, creating delicate paper designs while spending time together. Activities like these provide a therapeutic distraction, helping to keep minds engaged and hands active while supporting wellbeing.

Small moments like this can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s day.

Saturday 8 March marks St John of God Day. Today our caregivers came together to celebrate with a delicious paella lunch, followed by a special treat of churros for dessert.

As we gathered, we reflected on this year’s theme: “In the spirit of St John of God, do all the good works that you can.” It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the many ways our caregivers bring this spirit to life through their compassion and kindness every day.

As part of our celebrations, we also commissioned three new leaders from the past year. Through commissioning, these leaders make a commitment to the mission and values of St John of God Health Care.
