A thought provoking perspective on what makes for a happier life. I’ve spent most of this year feeling unhappy for one reason or another but instinctively followed much of what this article is suggesting to focus on myself and what truly makes me happy. I actually agree that you can feel happiness on the inside without needing to smile and laugh on the outside. For 2024, I aim to enjoy my journeys to achievement rather than only focusing on the end goal. The stress just isn’t worth it….

Stress is part of being human, and in moderation can help motivate you to get things done. However, chronic stress can be overwhelming and detrimental to health. It is important to get to the root causes of chronic stress and to consider dietary and lifestyle changes to help manage and build resilience to stress.

Taking small steps to address stress with diet and lifestyle strategies can have an immediate impact.

Great idea if you buy herb pots for one recipe and don’t use the rest!

This is a fabulous idea! When we buy herbs many times they end up going bad before we can use them all up...why not chop them, add olive oil and freeze them into cubes. Perfect to use in your recipes.

Easy peasy way to incorporate veggies 😀

Grate 1/2 courgette, 1/2 carrot, 1/2 potato. Season, leave for 10mins then using a tea towel wring out all the water. Chuck it in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and cook without touching it until it’s time to flip. Serve with an egg for breakfast or brunch.
