Has Daylight Savings got you all out of sorts?!

As we change the clocks for daylight it can take some time for our bodies to adapt our circadian rhythm leaving us feeling all out of sorts for several days.

To help your body shift your circadian rhythm:
- get exposure to light (preferably from the sun) when you get up
- avoid bright lights and screens after the sun goes down to wind down your brown to sleep
- avoid food late at night and stimulants from the afternoon
- get adjusted - it helped your nervous system better adapt
- take it slow - alter your sleep wake cycle by 15mins at a time to decrease the shock to your brain.

✨ Women’s Health Week ✨

The human body is beautifully intelligent – constantly adapting, healing, and finding balance. Women’s bodies, in particular, show this incredible design through the natural cycles of puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause. 🌸

These cycles are guided by the delicate dance of hormones, working with the nervous system to regulate everything from energy and mood to sleep, fertility, and even bone strength. But did you know that stress hormones like cortisol can disrupt cycle regulation and affect reproductive health?

That’s where chiropractic care comes in. By supporting the spine and nervous system – your body’s communication network – chiropractic helps reduce the impact of stress, restore balance, and allow the body’s natural healing intelligence to do what it does best. 🌿

💡 Fun fact: The nervous system and reproductive system are closely connected – research shows that spinal and pelvic nerve pathways influence blood flow and hormone regulation. This means supporting nervous system function can have positive ripple effects throughout a woman’s health journey.

This Women’s Health Week, we celebrate the strength, adaptability, and natural wisdom of women’s bodies – and Dr's Georgia, Marisa & Troy are here to support you through every stage of life. 💕
