Are you struggling with allergy eyes at the moment and can’t find Zaditen eyedrops?

The Zaditen eye drops have been long term out of stock nation wide but we have sourced Zoptic eye drop as an alternative.

It has exactly the same ingredient being ketotifen. This is an antihistamine that relieves itchy, red, watery eyes due to allergy and it also has other anti inflammatory effects including mast cell stabilisation. This can also help with allergic conjunctivitis.

If you are missing the Zaditen eye drops at the moment and the wattle/pollen is affecting you, Zoptic eyedrops are exactly the same & will stop the eye rubbing 😉

It was our 1000th immunisation yesterday.
It's such a huge achievement over the little time we have been open, this has covered families having new borns for whooping cough, influenza/covid/rsv protection, shingles, school scheduled catch up immunisations, travel vaccines and prolia.
Thank you so much to all the people that have supported us with this service and have been continuing to support us with our script and shop service. We appreciate it so much.
It's been really heart warming to be embraced by the Mt Nelson & surrounding communities. ❤️

❄️It was a frosty start to the day ❄️
We have just stocked up on some more beautifully bright, coloured, soft scarves & ponchos.
It's just in time for the chilly mornings, it's a lovely way to keep cosy and warm. ❤️

There is a planned power outage along Nelson Road tomorrow 8:30am to 2:30pm.
We are all prepared with a generator so will be open as normal 9am to 6pm to help you with all your pharmaceutical needs.

Hope everyone is having lovely long weekend.
If you have some over ripe bananas this recipe is amazing.
It’s a perfect baking day on a rainy arvo long weekend 😊 Enjoy!

Go Bananas Bread
130g butter (softened)
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 bananas (to get 1 1/2 cups)
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (heaped )
1/4 cup golden syrup

🍌 Set oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Grease a loaf pan with butter then line with baking paper.
🍌 Put softened butter in mixing bowl with brown sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until it’s pale and creamy.
🍌 Slowly add eggs one at a time and beat until well mixed.
🍌 Mash the bananas with a fork in a bowl and add to batter.
🍌 Sift the flour and baking powder over the batter, add the cinnamon and golden syrup. Beat until everything is mixed.
🍌Spoon into the loaf tin. Bake for 1 hour, test with a skewer, if it comes away cleanly it’s ready. If sticky still, bake slightly longer.
🍌 Tip out bread on cooling rack once cooled slightly in tin. Slice and enjoy with butter or ice cream.
