🤍 Hoping that all the Mum’s loved their flowers, chocolates, cards, kid crafts, and Mother’s Day lunches yesterday.

Out with my own Mum on the Sunshine Coast it was beautiful to see all the Mum’s being celebrated; a Mum skateboarding with her small son in Mudjimba park, a Dad proudly holding a lovely bunch of flowers 💐, EVERY table in a cafe reserved for a special Mum, even a Mum+joey kangaroo in Buderim, and a family packing up after dinner as I drove home the adult son holding a giant bunch of pink heart 🩷 balloons.

If anything that being a Mum, and having a Mum, whilst working in a healing/wellness industry alongside many complementary therapists has taught me, is that a Mum is SO central to the household. Working with has taught me that the “YOU+BALANCE” bagua is literally in the centre of the home. This is a message to the kids, and the Dads, don’t just SEE Mum and celebrate her for one day each year on Mother’s Day.

A full is the MOST VALUABLE THING in your entire household. And what overflows from Mum’s full cup fills all those around her so much more sweetly than any dregs from an empty cup ever can 🫖
