What an amazing Playgroup this morning with our incredible visit from Geraldton-Greenough SES. While our little people love to see all the cool gear and vehicles - us grown ups love seeing the hidden messages about staying safe in wet weather, storms, floods and cyclones.

We made floods, found out what to pack in our emergency kits, got to test our strength with some of the SES equipment, role played as our first responders and most importantly got familiar with some of the amazing volunteers who help keep our community safe.

There maybe be another visitor or two joining us this term as we continue learning how to Be Ready and Stay Safe!

So much beauty at today’s Playgroup as we recognised 65 Roses Day. We learnt about how Cystic Fibrosis impacts those diagnosed, including a special member of our playgroup community, and very importantly what we can all do to help protect those diagnosed 🌹

Thanks to generous donations from flashflowers_ and geraldtonfloralstudio we had plenty of roses for our sensory play.

To all our members who purchased roses or made a donation, I know your support for cysticfibrosiswa is greatly appreciated.
