After years of suffering from severe hyperacusis, this patient travelled all the way from Sydney to begin Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) with us.

He had lived with constant sound sensitivity and discomfort for far too long—but today, he’s heading back home feeling hopeful, empowered, and finally on the path to recovery.

Before he left, he recorded this short message for others going through the same struggles.

Bringing you exciting news from our community service at Monash Council's Family Fun Day! 🎉🏥

We're thrilled to share that we had an incredible day checking 136 ears 👂👂👂👂👂👂👂👂👂👂👂
Our dedicated team of clinicians provided high standard Australian audiological care to not only locals but also overseas visitors, ensuring everyone had access to the support they needed. 🌏💙

But that's not all—the impact we made goes beyond numbers! We had numerous people with tinnitus reach out for assistance, and we were there to address their concerns and offer guidance. 🤝🎗️

Moreover, we had the privilege of helping parents better understand their kids' hearing and listening behavior. By identifying four children with chronic tinnitus, we're taking proactive steps to improve their well-being and minimize potential setbacks. 🧒💚

Given the detrimental effects of conductive hearing loss on a child’s speech & language development and overall reduced quality of life, Shouldn’t this procedure be of high priority ?
Perhaps, the medical system still hasn’t reviewed the old protocols!
Only if they were made aware of the effect of prolonged conductive hearing loss and fluid in middle ears.
