Hello All!
I regret to inform you that I will not be returning to work as a Physiotherapist following my period of maternity leave.
I understand that this will be a disappointment to the many clients who have been under my care in the past and for this I apologise.
Motherhood has pulled me strongly in another direction and I am making the choice to spend these coming years immersed in the days with my young family.
I have enjoyed my years working within the Moura district servicing the needs of this beautiful community and I appreciate the support that I have received during this time.
Thank you in advance for your understanding,
Mel

🍼Maternity Leave Starts Now 🍼
Thank you to everyone who has shown support to my business over the past 5 years. It has been such a privilege to be able to fill a gap in Physiotherapy Services within the Moura region and be welcomed by such an amazing community.
Now is the time for me to take a break from work and settle into home life before we welcome Baby Lamb in the coming weeks and transition into a family of 4.
I have appreciated the kind words of support, encouragement and the beautifully unexpected gifts I have received in the last few weeks, so again I say thank you for such thoughtful gestures!
At this stage, I do not have an anticipated date to return to work as I am planning to soak up this season of motherhood to 2 young children. However, I will keep you all updated via this page of my expected return to clinical sessions in the future so please stay tuned!

🍼BABY LAMB DUE JULY 2024🍼
It's an exciting time here in the Lamb household as we prepare to welcome our newest family member in July 2024.
Based on current demand I expect my books will remain closed until I commence maternity leave in late May 2024. I apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.
I may advertise occassional vacancies if I have a cancellation occur that my current waitlist cannot fill, however these will be viewed as "one off" appointments and are unlikely to have the opportunity for ongoing care due to my limited availability.
At this stage I do not have a timeframe within which I will be returning to work. I am planning to soak up this season of life as a Mother of 2 young babies as I am very aware of how fleeting these moments are.
In the meantime, if you require Physiotherapy services there are a number of options now servicing the Biloela area: Active Physio, Pain Fx Physio and Vector Health.
I appreciate all the support that I have received this far with my business and I hope that I can return to servicing the needs of the community in the future.

❌❌ FM PHYSIO - BOOKS ARE CLOSED❌❌
I am sorry to announce that my books remain closed for the forseeable future.
To enable my current client base to access continued care I have had to make the difficult decision to not accept new clients or referrals until I have more availability.
Online bookings will no longer be available during this time.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need access to Physiotherapy services in the meantime, please contact Active Physio, Pain FX or Vector Health who are all providing services in Biloela.

With FM Physio I aim to provide improved access to Physiotherapy services for individuals in Central Queensland. Through these services I hope to enable clients to be active participants in their rehabilitation, empowering the individual to take control of their journey towards a healthier future.
Mel grew up in a small town in the Central West of NSW where she was a very active child. Her sports participation continued through her teenage years as she competed at a representative level of soccer. Having attended numerous physiotherapy consults during this time, Mel soon became eager to pursue this as a career.
Mel studied her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Orange NSW, where she graduated with Distinction in 2015. Following graduation Mel returned to her country home of Mudgee to further advance her skills working in a local private practice. During this time her weekends were dedicated to providing game day Physiotherapy services to local sporting teams and occasional visiting NRL teams.
In 2018, Mel decided it was time to broaden her experience and indulge her love of travel, leading her to pursue locum positions across Australia. Most recently she was working with the Australian Defence Force in Townsville providing musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to Defence personnel.
2019 has brought new opportunities which have led to Mel settling into the farming life near Moura with her partner, founding FM Physio and regaining her connections back into a rural community.
