The not so glamorous side of a bodybuilding prep.
Although achieving an extremely low body fat percentage for stage looks fu***ng awesome, I’m here to tell you that it is not a reflection of a sustainable physique nor does it reflect optimal health. There is only a small proportion of the year that we maintain this state of leanest, and it requires weekly and daily monitoring, particularly towards the final weeks coming into show. A reverse diet, which follows the show, primarily focuses on restoring health markers back to there most optimal state.
Every prep comes with its challenges but it requires resilience and a relentless attitude to push through. Standards over feeling ALWAYS! I have my purpose and I am SO ready to beat my last years physique 💪🏼 Coming into the 9 weeks out mark. Let’s get it!!!
