Just a reminder to all the Mums and Mums to be!!!

During hot weather, make sure you drink plenty of water and stay as cool as possible. Avoid exercising in the hottest part of the day and if you have to work outside, stay hydrated and wear sun protection every day.

Mudgee Maternity was happy to support the official opening of Gidget House in Mudgee today!! Wonderful to have an amazing support for families struggling with perinatal depression and anxiety. Please chat with the midwives or child and family health nurse at anytime if you would like to know more!! They will help refer you to a GP to get a Mental Health Care plan to access the service.

This week is Perinatal Mental Health week, we know that many women and partners suffer from Mental Health conditions throughout Pregnancy and new parenthood.
There are plenty of options for support that are available, if you or anyone you know is struggling, please seek help, ask us at Mudgee Maternity for help, at whatever stage you're up to..

I hope this is ok for me to share with you.
On the 27th of October, my family and I will be participating in the Choosing hope walk with Bears of hope in Sydney
In honour of Our Beautiful Baby Girl Blair Willow Riley 🎀🩷🌸 who was born sleeping and silent on the 30th of May 2024 6 weeks shy of her due date in at the Mudgee Maternity unit we were very lucky you guys had a cuddle cot for us to spend quality time with Blair before our final goodbyes 🥺😭.

I’m sure you know all about Bears of Hope and the great work they do supporting parents and families like our own.

We would be forever grateful we could get you guys on board for a donation we are hoping to raise enough funds for 50 bears and resource packs that will all be donated in honour of our beautiful Girl Blair 🫶🏻👼🤍
