Our Auslan Sign of the Week is back

This week, Zola is teaching the sign for “Home.”

“Home” is more than just a place, it is a feeling of comfort, safety and belonging.

Learning to communicate words like this helps our clients express what matters most to them and strengthens everyday communication.

We will keep sharing a new word each week so you can learn along with us.

Our garden is still going strong this autumn 🍅

With the support of our staff, our clients love spending time checking in on the garden, watching what’s growing and taking pride in the progress. And yes, the tomatoes are still coming through.

It’s a great way to stay connected to nature, build routine and enjoy the rewards of something we’ve cared for together.

Last month in our woodwork program, our clients got creative making their very own Easter decorations

With the support of our staff, they worked through each step, cutting, sanding and bringing their ideas to life.

The finished pieces were then proudly displayed around Lifeskills Plus, adding a personal and colourful touch to our space.

It is moments like these that showcase not only creativity, but the pride our clients feel seeing their work become part of the environment they spend time in every day.
