Behind every person receiving care, there’s someone giving it their all 💫

When Nathaly moved from Venezuela to Australia, she became a full-time carer for her daughter, Laura, who has an intellectual disability. Between learning English, finding schools, and rebuilding their life from scratch, Nathaly’s days were filled with love, but little time for herself.

Then came the NDIS. With the right supports in place, Nathaly could finally find balance. She pursued study and work, and rediscovered who she was, not just as a carer, but as a person 🫶

From paddling her way to a world title to drawing her bow on the global stage, AJ Jennings’ journey is a true story of resilience and reinvention 💪🏹

After representing Australia in Para-canoe at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, AJ faced years of chronic pain and two hip replacements. But she refused to let that stop her. In 2024, she debuted as a Paralympic archer, proving that strength isn’t about how fast you move, but how far you’ve come. 💛💚

AJ Jennings’ journey is proof that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
