Deltoid Muscle: Shoulder Pain and Weakness:

Trigger points in the deltoid muscle cause pain at the spot where the trigger point is located and in the nearby area. You’ll usually feel pain when moving your arm, but not when it’s at rest. If there’s pain when your arm isn’t moving, it could be referred pain from another muscle.

Symptoms may include:

- Pain at the tip of the shoulder and down the upper arm
- Weakness in the shoulder and difficulty raising the arm
- Pain when lifting or holding objects in front of you
- Pain reduces when the arm and shoulder are resting
