A little about me...

Welcome, and I’m pleased your here... Some of you know me well, and some of you I am meeting for the first time. As you may already know, I am a psychotherapist and educator based in Byron Bay Shire Northern New South Wales and specialising in relationships. Most of my work is in the therapeutic environment working with couples, individuals and families, however I also offer specialised, professionally endorsed training and consultation services.

I wanted to let you know a little more about myself and firstly, why I am so relationship biased. I believe it is inherit, foundational and good for us all to be more skilled in our most important relationships. Of course, im not the only person to think this and there is overwhelming evidence around the impact of good relationships on our emotional, physical and mental health. Whether this is at home, with friends or in the workplace, functional relationships are a primary structure of our community.

I have been working with people and community for over 25 years and as a full time therapist, clinical supervisor and group facilitator for the past 12 years. My reputed and respected practice melds creative, relational, psychotherapy methods with neurobiology and mindfulness practices, within a safe and healing environment. Over the last decade my work has included working with many couples, individuals and families and included training to other professionals and the community through partnerships with organisations like Gestalt therapy Brisbane and Diabetes Queensland.

I am a Clinical member of PACFA and a member of ACRC and GANZ. These memberships guide and inform the ethics and professionalism I bring to my practice. My work been reviewed on radio, television and in print. I am currently a presenter with the Pregnancy birth and Beyond show on BayFM 99.9 where I get the chance to interview amazing thinkers and activists in the world of parenting and relationship.
