Poppy Rose Counselling and Reiki Qualified and Registered Counsellor and Reiki Practitioner I believe there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to mental health issues. The bit about me.

Our early life relationships and experiences have a dramatic and lifelong influence on our behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. Everyone has their own unique life story and with this in mind, counselling sessions are tailored to each individual client. I believe that every person has the potential to recognise and understand the effect of maladaptive thought patterns, making it possible to modify unhelpful behaviours and negative emotions. By using strengths and resilience already possessed by the individual, strategies are designed to help promote mental wellness and to impove quality of life and relationships. My name is Christine Slyns and I grew up in the Perth Hills. I completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree at Curtin University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling at Murdoch University. In 2024, I will be completing the Masters of Counselling, also at Murdoch University.
