Do you sometimes feel like you’re just getting through this stage, rather than thriving?

More than half of the women who completed our Menopause Journey Survey said they’re either really struggling or just making it through this stage of life.

That matters. Not because all women struggle during menopause (many don’t) but because so many shared that even when they’re coping, they’re often unsure where to turn, what support might help, or whether what they’re experiencing is “normal.”

Menopause isn’t just about managing symptoms. It’s a significant life transition, one that often unfolds without enough information, understanding, or support.

Support can begin with small, steady steps:
• Learning what’s happening in your body
• Having safe, judgment-free spaces to talk
• Adjusting expectations (of yourself and others)
• Accessing the right wellbeing or health support
If you’re not sure where to start, start small.

You might begin by noticing what feels like it’s working well and where you feel challenged.

If this resonates, you're warmly invited to join the to Thrive Community, a supportive place to pause, reflect, and feel less alone while navigating life transitions, including menopause..

Wishing you wellbeing,

If you’ve been feeling more forgetful, more emotional, more tired, or less like yourself lately.... You’re not imagining it.

There is nothing “wrong” with you.
You’re navigating change.

Awareness is often the first step toward feeling more supported.

If you’re curious about what your experience looks like, you’re warmly invited to complete the Menopause Symptoms Tracker and Survey.

It’s a simple way to tune into what you’re noticing, put language around your experience, and feel less alone in it.

So many capable women begin to doubt themselves during this life stage, not because they lack ability, but because they lack understanding and psychological safety.

In my latest conversation on the Menopause Reimagined at Work podcast, Karen Stein shared that many women:

• Mask symptoms
• Fear being judged
• Hold back from opportunities
• Feel uncertain about what’s happening in their bodies
• Quietly struggle rather than speak up

And yet, menopause is not an illness.
It’s not a deficiency.
It’s a life stage.

When people feel seen, heard, and safe, they show up with more confidence, clarity, and connection.

That’s true for menopause, and it’s true for wellbeing more broadly.

The Menopause Reimagined at Work series is inspired by a call to action in Shelly Horton's book, I’m Your Peri Godmother, as well as my own experience, along with the many stories I have with women balancing careers, caregiving, and life while navigating menopause.

As a wellbeing specialist, I’ve seen firsthand how this transition can affect energy, confidence, and connection, yet it’s rarely spoken about at work. It’s time to change that.

In this first episode, Shelly joins me to talk openly about her perimenopause journey, the importance of evidence-based care, and why bringing menopause into workplace wellbeing conversations is long overdue.

I highly recommend Shelley's book - I'm your peri godmother. For anyone at the beginning, middle or end of this transition.

Menopause and perimenopause can affect so much more than just our hormones, especially when we’re juggling careers, relationships, and responsibilities.

Many women have shared with me that they feel like they’re silently pushing through brain fog, fatigue, or emotional ups and downs at work, all while trying to carry on like nothing’s changed.

I’m exploring how we can create more supportive, empowering spaces for women going through this, both inside and outside of work.

1. Feeling foggy or scattered, struggling to think clearly or stay focused
2. Trying to function when sleep is broken or exhaustion hits hard
3. Losing confidence in myself or doubting my ability at work
4. Not knowing how (or whether) to talk about it at work
5. Feeling like I’m just silently pushing through it on my own

Which of these has felt most true for you?

What if you let go of the pressure to be more, do more, or achieve more and simply allowed yourself to be?

✨ You are already enough.
✨ Your worth isn’t measured by productivity.
✨ You don’t have to earn rest, love, or kindness.

Take a deep breath. Place a hand on your heart. Remind yourself: I am enough, just as I am. 💛

Will you embrace this today?

You’re not alone! The feeling of ‘not being enough’ is more common than we think yet it can quietly hold us back from truly being ourselves.

In my latest LinkedIn article, I explore why these feelings arise and share PRISM, a simple strategy for shifting self-doubt into confidence and self-acceptance.

Welcome

In this digital age where we are constantly bombarded by emails, phone calls, Facebook and the internet, along with the demands of our work and family, we become overwhelmed, constantly checking our phones and our inboxes. Trying to be everywhere and do everything.

My mission is to teach people and organisations the tools for building wellbeing and resilience through mental fitness.

The way I do this is through teaching simple easy to use techniques that have instant results.

I help people to lower their stress levels and improve their overall wellbeing, showing them how to develop a wisdom of self, enabling them to take control of the challenges and adversities they might face every day both personally and professionally.
