Surprisingly this splint wasn’t made on a cast member for the next Batman movie. It was made for a semi professional soccer player who fractured his nose. The Batman mask! Hopefully he can scare away the opposition before they can get anywhere near him!

Splints can come in handy for more than just finger injuries👃🏼

Introducing Juliette Adamson! Before becoming a Physio, Juliette worked as a Pilates instructor for 12 years, honing her ability to guide people to improve their strength, mobility and body awareness. She brings these skills to her approach as a physio, as well as her skills in sports injury management and performance enhancement from her role as club physio for Southern Lions rugby club and Lakeside Lightening basketball.

Outside of the clinic, Juliette enjoys exercising with her dog Bandit by her side. Exchanging of pet photos are encouraged at her appointments 😁. Come and see Juliette at either our Murdoch or Mt Lawley clinic.

Hi Ali👋🏼

Ali McIntosh is new to the Flex team, but not new to the Physio game. She is a real asset, with over 25 years working as a physio - she knows her stuff! Ali has a particular interest in working with patients that have complex persistent pain, hypermobility and the paediatric population👧🏼. She has completed further training in the 4-year Feldenkrais Method program which enhances her understanding of the complexities of movement patterns and their role in persistent pain.

Ali is also kept busy by her 2 daughters and is a keen runner. She loves the opportunity to get in a morning swim at the beach 🌅🏊‍♀️ and kicking back with a good book📚. Welcome to the team Ali!

Throw back to a very successful weekend of teaching when our physios, Ian and Jay, held the APA Hand and Wrist course earlier in the year. Everyone left with their knowledge of hand anatomy, injury and management refined. And, of course, much fun was had practising making some thermoplastic splints. Well done everyone involved!
