Resthaven Western Community Services recently marked Resthaven's 90th anniversary milestone with a special high tea at St Clair Recreation Centre, bringing together 65 clients and their families to celebrate. ๐ซ๐ฐ
It was a privilege to host special guests Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care, alongside City of Charles Sturt Mayor Angela Evans at the celebration.

Yesterday, staff at Resthaven Marion Community Services and Resthaven Community Respite Services enjoyed a shared lunch. With everyone bringing a dish, it was a fantastic chance to come together and strengthen connections across both offices. ๐ค

Mrs Alison Sparkes immediately felt 'right at home' when she joined the Resthaven Westbourne Park community a few months ago. ๐ฅฐ
After all, prior to becoming a resident herself, she had selflessly volunteered with Resthaven for almost three decades, serving countless Devonshire Teas, helping with bus trips and lending a hand wherever it was needed. ๐
We were delighted to host Hon Sam Rae MP, Minister for Aged Care and Seniors, and Louise Miller-Frost MP, Federal Member for Boothby, yesterday afternoon at Resthaven Marion.
CEO Darren Birbeck, along with Resthaven Executive and Senior Managers, accompanied Sam and Louise for a tour around the home. Residents were eager to join for a cuppa and a chat, with plenty of meaningful conversations held. ๐ค

On 6 July 1980, Resthaven Bellevue Heights was officially opened with a vision of creating a caring community. Since then, the site has grown and evolved over the decades, culminating in a major $36 million redevelopment that opened earlier this year.

Resthaven Murray Bridge residential and community services recently came together for a roaring 1930s-style bash to celebrate Resthavenโs 90th anniversary โ and they certainly celebrated in style!
With around 250 people taking part, the day was filled with champagne, delicious food, and live jazz! ๐ถ๐ฅ
