Greetings all, I am now qualified to practice Dry Needling, another method I can use to treat a wide variety of conditions.
If you’d like to try dry needling, or if you’ve had it before and been amazed by the results, let me know and I can incorporate it into your treatment 😊

While I’ve been social distancing I’ve been finishing off some study- I’m now a qualified Mcloughlin (that’s the name of the guy who discovered and taught the technique) Scar Tissue Release practitioner.

So happy to be able to offer this amazing service as it is really effective and though there is a lot to it, quite simple to apply.

External and internal scar tissue can cause all sorts of discomfort.
This treatment softens and allows healing to occur.
I’ll pop a couple of pictures in the comments below....

Hi all, due to Covid 19 restrictions I’m currently not practicing.
I’m totally missing everyone and my work.
I hope all my clients are ok, not in too much pain, and are managing ok.

I’m making use of my time, catching up with jobs and some study.

I’m keeping an eye things and waiting for the word from my association and the government as to when I can start up again.
No doubt when I do start, there will be covid infection control methods applied.

I’ll notify everyone when I’m up and running- could be soon, could be later on, could start and then stop again.... as long as we remain safe and well, that’s the main thing

Meet Black Beauty

Here she stands,
nekid but with pride.
She’s looking kind of jaded, with some small cracks in her hide,

I bought her secondhand, she was pick of all the land.
Dressed in fine Egyptian cotton
she looks solid, sturdy and well, grand.

Through thick and thin she’s stood her ground,
supporting many a pound
This steed has always been around

She’s had over two thousand riders,
heard a thousand tales
Ne’er a word she speaks
though at times she may utter a little
squeaks

it’s nearly time
to leave her in the longyard, soon, one day.

Yep, it’s time for a toast-
A toast to her last summer, and all the days gone past,
though I’ll put off our parting
for as long as she can last,

but it’s near time for the longyard,
long at last.

Let her squander her last summer, she will stolidly do her job,
then I’ll shed a little tear, let slip a little sob,

and put her out to the longyard....

gee my heart throbs

A big shout out to all the fabulous Massage Therapists in Murray Bridge, you all give a darn good massage and help so many people.
Massage Therapy is more than just a job, it is a passion and a way of life.
Thanks and well done to Maxine, Rebecca, Rachel, Pria, you are champs at what you do and it is fab having you guys to 'talk muscle' and bounce ideas off.... you've taught me heaps. And well done to the other therapists in town- the people in the Mall, the guys over the river, someone called Kathryn- I don't know you all but I hear about all the good things you do. There are many skilled Remedial Massage Therapists here, all doing a great job.
Massage has come a long way since the 90s, it's become more professional (we have to wear shoes now), with better and more effective techniques.
There's a lot more to it than what people see in the clinic, you lot are the best, keep up the good work👍

I'm so excited- I have just learned more new methods of applying deep tissue massage to help treat injuries and correct long standing problems. Its fantastic! Been working on my kids fixing up this and that, now I've run out of subjects. My fingers are itching to treat. Mwahaha. I've been combining the new with my previous methods. Yep, lower back pain, shoulder injuries, sciatica, neck problems- all sorts of things. I had a full weekend of learning, got another certificate under my belt and met some really great practitioners. We treated each other and the results were amazing. I'm rapt (and so keen) to be able to help my clients more, loving it!

Ah- the lovely view from my clinic window. See that little rooster there? He loves being close by. I always hope he doesn't let out an almighty crow right when my client is drifting into that delicious half-asleep mode :)

Most people get massages when something breaks down and impinges on life.
Then they discover how good it is.
When people see me for treatment they usually get a full body massage with remedial work done to areas in need. Regulars walk in and say "Lower back and right arm today please". That's all they need to say.
Massage feels good. You feel good after a massage. That's because it IS good for you.
My New Year's Resolution is to get regular massages for myself this year.
Having a professional full body massage fortnightly or monthly helps keep the body supple, prevent injuries, improve circulation, remove toxins, relieve pain and stress....it's so good!
