Sam has been in Australia since 2011 and studied Medicine at the University of Sydney.

Sam is a skin cancer doctor accredited by the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He offers a variety of approaches to the management of these cancers including cryotherapy, topical field treatment, cautery and curettage, and surgical management.

Outside of medicine, he loves to travel and participate in sport and outdoor activities.

🧑‍⚕️Meet Dr Thi Han Oo 👨‍⚕️

Dr Thi Han Oo is an Australian trained specialist GP, initially recruited as a Hospital Medical Officer by Queensland Health's Northwest Hospital and Health Services in 2016. Over the past years, he completed Rural hospital rotations in Mount Isa, Charter Towers and Townsville University hospitals and outreach clinics in the Gulf country. He went through specialist GP Training at James Cook University GP Training in Cairns, including skin cancer surgery as Extended skills and became a fellow in 2022.

He was born in Myanmar and graduated from the University of Medicine 2, Yangon in 2009. He previously worked there as a GP and surgical/urosurgery assistant for over 5 years before coming to Australia.

His special interests are acute medicine, men's and women's health, kid's health, mental health, geriatrics and chronic disease management and palliative care. He also completed Extended Skill Training for Skin Cancer surgery in the Far North QLD during his GP Training. He holds professional certificates in skin cancer medicine/surgery/dermoscopy and offers full body skin checks and skin cancer excisions.

Outside work, Dr Oo has a young family and loves taking his wife and little one out on hiking and camping adventures.

👩‍⚕️Meet Dr Cho Cho Mar 👩‍⚕️

Dr Cho Cho Mar is originally from Myanmar, one of the most beautiful countries in South-East Asia. Dr Mar comes from a Physician Background and holds MRCP (UK) and her special interest is in the management of chronic medical conditions, for example, heart diseases, diabetes and obesity. She became a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023 after completing her rural hospital terms and national specialist GP training in the Northwest and Far North Queensland from 2016 to 2023.

Being a mother of a young child, Dr Mar is passionate in looking after children’s and women's health and antenatal care, cervical screening. Dr Mar also performs minor procedures such as contraception device insertions and removals etc.
