Change in our Billing Policy from 1st November
Due to the lack of investment in Medicare and a significant increase in our operational costs, including materials, labour, and utilities, we have found it necessary to adjust our bulk billing policy to continue delivering the quality service you expect from us.
From 1st November, all concession card holders will be privately billed; except the following patient cohorts who will still be bulk-billed:
• Anyone aged under 16 with a valid Medicare card
• Anyone aged 70 and over with a valid Medicare card
• DVA Gold card holders
• DVA White card holders (accepted conditions only)
We want to assure you that this decision was made after careful consideration. Our goal is to remain transparent and fair, while continuing to invest in improvements that benefit you.

We recently undertook some research with our regular patients and the overwhelming feedback we received was the frustration in getting last minute appointments with our doctors.

That’s partly because they do a great job and you love them, so a big thank you for that.

But you’ve talked and we have listened, so we are going to increase the number of “on-the-day” appointments that will only be available by phone from 8am each day. Call us on 3164 6000.

As you may be aware three new menopausal hormone therapies (MHTs) are now available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). These are:

Estrogel (estradiol)
Prometrium (progesterone)
Estrogel Pro (estradiol and progesterone)

Yaz and Yazmin contraceptives are also included.

If you currently have a private script and would like to switch, please call our reception team on 3164 6000 and Dr Caroline will call you and organise a new PBS script for you. No need for to make a specific appointment.
