We love getting feedback like this! Thank you to the Antique Machinery Restoration Society of Queensland for the lovely words and to Mark (Medic, the Training Coordinator AND our Vice President!)

“The Antique Machinery Restoration Society Qld would like to extend our sincere thanks to Moreton Bay First Aid Volunteers for their valuable support. In particular, we wish to acknowledge Mark for his engaging presentation delivered to our members on 15 March 2026. Mark’s session covered essential CPR techniques and the use of an AED, providing us with practical knowledge and increased confidence in responding to emergencies. We greatly appreciate the time and expertise shared, which will benefit our club”

A big shoutout to Paul for delivering a fantastic 9-week Introduction to First Aid course at U3A (University of the Third Age) in Redcliffe 👏

This was an unaccredited course which covered all the essentials — DRSABCD and CPR through to managing a range of common first aid emergencies.

Paul had around 9 participants most weeks, with 6 finishing strong in the final session.

To wrap the whole training up, participants worked through four different scenarios, confidently explaining how they would respond in an emergency — showing they learnt some valuable, potentially lifesaving knowledge 🙌🏻

We’re incredibly grateful for our volunteers like Paul, who generously give up their time to support training like this. Commitment like this builds safer, more prepared communities.

Well done Paul, and thank you 👏

Today our amazing MBFAV Inc volunteers Nia, Paula and John are out and about at the Flourish and Thrive – Brain Injury Expo 🌿

They’re spending the day connecting with the community, sharing knowledge, and supporting such an important space — because helping people flourish and thrive is kind of our thing too! 🤗

Events like this are a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of conversations that truly matter. We’re so proud to have our team representing MBFAV Inc. If attending, make sure you stop by and say hello 👋

A huge thank you to 4 of our incredible volunteers — Gill, Jen, Alex and Karina — for the time, care and professionalism they bring to every event.

We recently received some really lovely feedback from the Caboolture BMX community regarding these 4 members that we think deserve a shout out so we wanted to share part of it with you 🤗

“Hi Bethany, just wanted to pass on some feedback we’ve received from our members.

On a couple of recent occasions, your volunteers provided outstanding care. The hospital staff even praised the thorough assessments and accompanying notes, and one parent commented they had never seen such high-quality service from first aiders at a BMX event”

🙌🏻 Feedback like this means so much to us. It reflects exactly what we strive for — high-quality, compassionate care — and it’s a credit to the standard our volunteers hold themselves to every single time they respond.

Thank you again to all of you for representing MBFAV with such professionalism and heart 👏
