Monday February 2nd starts the new semester!
We are very excited to welcome the charming Dr Tze Wei Phang ( Dr James) to The Health Hub!

Dr James is moving from Monaro medical Practice in Cooma and is no stranger to a country medical practice.
Dr James is already available for appointments on Hotdoc

Lets give him a nice Welcome with a full book of patients!

*Looking for Patient*
Tuesday morning ( yesterday) at 9am a patient leaving the health Hub reversed into our Boom gate and caused considerable damage. We do understand that accidents happen, however this person did not stop to check damage nor did they come inside to report it.

Although we do have an eye witness and we can go through the security video, we would much prefer the person responsible contact us so we can obtain their insurance details to organise repair.

Please, if this was you... please contact us immediately to arrange repair.
We are hoping honesty is not lost in our country town

Due to the Australia Day Long weekend
The Health Hub is closed today and Monday.
We reopen on Tuesday the 27th January.
If you have a medical emergency please call triple zero or present to your nearest Hospital .

**HOUSEKEEPING REMINDER**

Unfortunately due to an increase in No Shows we will be increasing the "No Show" fee to $50 from January 1st 2026.
We understand that sometimes plans change and emergencies happen but PLEASE call to cancel your appointment if you cant make it.
If you do not let us know you will be charged a cancelation fee which is required to be paid PRIOR to your next appointment.

We don't like to chase you for your non attendance fee, we also don't like telling patients there are no appointments available.
Please be respectful of the GPs time and of the opportunity for someone else to have your appointment slot if you cannot make it.

**BOOKING FEES**
Booking fees were introduced a few years ago to secure your appointment time and to avoid these situations.
Please ensure your booking fee is paid PRIOR to your procedure. If the booking fee is not paid you risk your appointment being canceled.

Unfortunately these policies have been put in place due to the non attendance issue.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact management to discuss.

Sad day today at the Murrumbateman Health Hub as we farewell one of our favourites Dr Kiran.
We know we cant keep them forever

We are very grateful for Dr Kiran's care and concern during her time with us. We have been very fortunate to see her grow into the confident and capable General Practitioner she is today. She has been a wonderful assest.

We wish Dr Kiran and her family all the best as she tackles her new adventures.
