You thought the terrible 2’s would last forever.
And now you deeply want them back.

One day your house is full.
Shoes at the door.
Food disappearing like a magic trick.
Voices calling “Mom!” from every direction.

And then…it isn’t.

No one warns you that this version of motherhood is the one that stretches the heart most.

Because when they’re little?
You can fix things.
You can hug it out.
You can tuck them in and whisper, “It’s okay,”and for a moment… everything is.

But now?

Those grown babies are no longer under your protective roof.
They have big ol’ lives of their own.

Their problems are bigger.
Their world is wider.
They live time zones and flights away.
And your arms…they feel too hard to reach them.

But you?
You, mama….you still carry it all.
The worry.
The love.
The quiet “are you okay?” that sits in your chest all day long.
That mode just doesnt switch off when they leave.

And of course you carry it .
You’re their mama.
It’s been ingrained in you since they showed up.

But now?

This is where you learn a different kind of holding on.

Not with your hands…
but with trust and vision and dare I say it…excitement.
With a new kind of love that says,
“I’m here… even when I’m not right next to you.”

And wow… no one talks about how hard that is.

That’s your beautiful nervous system asking for some help.

… this is one of those internet wins that turns into something really special.

Season and I took our connection offline and met in person… and wow. What a gift.

To be in the hands of someone who truly understands the body, not just as muscles and joints, but as a living, breathing map of experiences, emotions, and stored memories… it’s something else entirely.

In just one hour, my body started letting go of tension I had quietly accepted as permanent.

And somehow… her hands knew exactly where to go.

Magic? Maybe.
Mastery? Absolutely.
