Family Medical Centre Murrurundi are delighted to offer a range of health checks.

Much like servicing your car, health checks are designed to detect and help prevent chronic illnesses, keeping you healthier for longer.

The health check will involve a long appointment with one of our Doctors who will conduct a thorough assessment including updating your medical history including medications and allergies, checking your height, weight and blood pressure, organising blood tests for cholesterol and diabetes, and discussing your lifestyle.

Health checks are available for all patients once between the ages of 45 and 49, and annually for every patient over the age of 75.

There are also specific cardiac health checks, checks during menopause and checks for patients who are at high risk of diabetes.
