We are delighted to let the community know that from Tuesday 2 September we will have three new Drs providing services at Family Medical Centre Murrurundi.

Dr Monica Nobel, Dr Rana Ozcan and Dr Nay Chi Win are registrars undertaking General Practice Training under the supervision of Dr Khine and Dr Kimpton.

Mobile breast screening is coming to Murrurundi.

All asymptomatic women aged 40 and over are eligible for a free breast screen. BreastScreen NSW recommends women aged 50–74 have a breast screen every two years.

Today is Admin Professionals Day!

We take time to reflect today on the enormous effort from our entire Admin team to transition Family Medical Centre Murrurundi to its new owners.

We are now well settled in to Family Medical Centre, and steadily increasing the services we are providing in town.

We have a nurse at the practice with us most days to assist and will be able to offer routine immunisations, minor procedures, cervical cytology, ear wax removal and support for chronic disease management.

(Our influenza immunisations have not arrived yet, but we expect them soon)
