Spring cleaning starts which often helps our mental health, decluttering our homes and lives is refreshing.

In Australia we have wonderful seasonal fruits and vegetables , so eating healthy in Spring is always so much easier.

The negative to Spring for some people is the increase in allergy symptoms but if managed properly, you can still enjoy this wonderful season.

Addressing your symptoms early can significantly improve how you feel all season long. Speak with your GP about both over-the-counter and prescription allergy treatments that may help.

The dedicated staff at Brook Medical participated in a comprehensive CPR training session on Monday evening.

The training, designed to enhance life-saving skills and emergency preparedness, covered essential techniques such as chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). By committing to this hands-on instruction, the team reaffirmed their commitment to patient safety and continuous professional development. The session was both informative and practical, ensuring that every staff member is equipped to respond effectively in critical situations.

BreastScreen will be in Muswellbrook from the 17th of September until the 11th of November at the Muswellbrook PCYC, corner of Carl Street and Market Lane.

The BreastScreen program is specifically for women aged 50 to 74, but women aged 40 to 49 are also eligible to attend.
