We are excited to announce the return of our Business Community Connect Day, an initiative designed to bring local businesses and the community together in a positive, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives?
Aurora Supports is seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding team of Support Workers. As a locally owned and operated Disability Service, we provide crucial support to individuals in the Upper Hunter region.
About the Role:
- Casual employment opportunity
- Family-focused environment
- Above award pay rates
- Free training provided
- Buddy shifts available for support and mentorship
- Varied work locations across the Upper Hunter, including Singleton, Muswellbrook, Murrurundi, Scone, Merriwa, Denman, and surrounding areas
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current NSW Driver's licence
- Fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a NDIS worker's check
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a NSW Working With Children's Check
- Possession of or willingness to obtain First Aid Certification
- Previous experience in disability support work is advantageous
- Smartphone or willingness to obtain one
- Availability between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, including occasional weekends

When someone trusts us with their life—or their family member's life—the least we can do is answer the phone, return the message, and communicate with honesty.

No voicemail mazes. No waiting weeks for a reply. Just people talking to people.

You won't often find our whole team in one room.

That's because they're where they should be. Alongside people. In Singleton, Muswellbrook, Denman, Scone, Merriwa—wherever we're needed.

We don't have a polished team photo. But you'll see us out there. In the car between towns. At the local café. Showing up, week after week.

For many months Aurora Supports, Hunter Disability Services, Warrior Disability Services and Council volunteers have been working hard at the Muswellbrook Sustainability Hub Community Garden. We put in several entries to the Muswellbrook Show and received lots of ribbons. A great reward for our efforts.
