🌟✨ What an absolutely amazing day we had at our Community Connect Day on Wednesday, 20th August 2025 at the PCYC! ✨🌟

The energy was bright, warm and full of connection – exactly what our community is all about 💖. We had such a wonderful mix of services, businesses and providers who generously took time out of their day to showcase what they do and share so many opportunities with everyone.

💫 From free coffee, massages, haircuts, yoga demonstrations, trampoline (rebounder) fun, and even free resume/cover letter support and speech assessments – there was something for everyone to enjoy.
🩺 A big highlight was having the amazing Dr Jawaad on site offering free skin checks, blood pressure checks, and sugar testing – such an important service for our community.
🎶 We were also joined by the local FM radio and treated to live music from a talented singer from Denman, which made the day even brighter.
🍔 And of course, nobody went hungry – we had a delicious free community BBQ, Domino’s Pizza kindly donated pizzas, and Woolworths supplied fresh fruit for everyone to enjoy.
🎁 To top it all off, there were lucky door prizes generously donated by Chemist Warehouse, chemist, Big Scissors, Thai Sensa Massage and Spa, Aah Pizza Bella Muswellbrook, Domino's Pizza, 's, Woolworths , Double Picc

The community spirit was incredible – people were still arriving even as we were packing up! 🙌 The day truly showed how powerful it is when our community comes together to share, support and connect.

A big heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along, all the amazing providers, and those who donated and supported the day. 🌈💙 We couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to many more days like this where the community shines bright together! ✨

🐊🌞 AURORA DAY OUT – AUSTRALIAN REPTILE PARK! 🌞🐍

We’re off on another awesome adventure – and we’d love for you to come along!
📍 Where: Australian Reptile Park
📅 When: Friday, 29th August 2025
🚌 Departing Muswellbrook at 8:00 AM, returning by 5:00–5:30 PM

🎟️ Cost: $45 concession entry
🍔 Bring your own lunch or purchase from the onsite kiosk
♿ The park is mostly wheelchair accessible

This outing is open to anyone with an NDIS plan who would like to enjoy a day out exploring amazing animals, connecting with others, and making great memories with the Aurora crew!
