Standish Street Surgery is offering FREE JE Vaccinations for eligible patients under the Victorian Health program — with all consultations fully bulk-billed.

If you live or work in the Alpine Shire, you may be eligible for the free vaccine. JE is spread by mosquitoes, and vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your family this summer.

TOOLS FOR RESILIENCE – MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP

Wellways invites community members to a free workshop focused on strengthening personal and neighbourhood resilience.
This session will explore practical skills for coping, communicating effectively, and building a more connected and supportive community.

Spring is here — and so is hay fever season! 🤧

As the flowers bloom across the Alpine region, so do the sneezes, sniffles and itchy eyes that come with hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis).

Common symptoms:

As the current outbreak of Whooping Cough in the Alpine area grows, here’s a helpful link to guide you through Symptoms etc:-

Symptoms are similar to those of a cold such as cough, tiredness,blocked or runny nose and low grade fever, which may last for 1-2 weeks. After symptoms, the cough usually worsens to include:
-Severe Cough that can occur in bouts
-Characteristic ’Whoop’ sound when breathing
-Vomiting at the end of coughing bout.
-Apnea.

If you or a family member are experiencing any of the above symptoms, please contact the Surgery on 57519900 please DO NOT enter the surgery.
