This video demonstrates the introduction of a pure essential oil product to my dog Zane.
Note his reaction or behaviour to the product. His ears forward nostrils flaring, which allows him to take in as much information about the aroma. He licks at the product in my hands. Animals will try to ingest, especially if it is needed for example if they have endured a stress situation. This can be difficult to stop or prevent. Therefore, low dilutions are used.
Also, note him leaning in towards the product and me.
