Recognising success of the Sistas Shawl! 🥳👏
Last Thursday Nurse Kelly and Zsphera attended the exciting launch of the Sistahood Shawl Project 💜🎉 The project features beautiful shawls designed by incredible local artist Mandy Draper, providing modesty and a sense of cultural safety during breast screening. Every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman attending breast screening will receive one of these shawls to enhance her experience and offer more privacy.

A successful launch and beautiful collaboration between Queensland Health, BreastScreen, North Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health and Refocus Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Service, showing just what can be achieved when services come together 💪
