TEMPORARY CLOSURE UNTIL JUNE 2025

Dear Friends, Hope you all are well, and that you had a special and somewhat restful time with family this Christmas!

As 2024 draws to a close, thought I would give a brief update of the Mobile Service that has been on the road for 6 months now, and to let you all know that the MOBILE SERVICE WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED until June 2025 due to overseas commitments.

There will also be no correspondence from me as well, so if I don't reply to emails, phone calls, voice messages, texts or fb messenger , it will be because I just won't be able to. So sorry about that. I'm off on another adventure! Will fill you in on my plans at a later date.

But for now, the Mobile Service news. It has been such a wonderful experience for me, meeting so many wonderful people, and going to many new places.

And, as always, the amazing children that have worked hard, doing their best to complete the Alison Lawson treatment program, have achieved great results, leading to a greater ease in literacy based learning. WELL DONE! I am so proud of each of you!

I also got to collaborate with Christie, a Connected Kidz Coach from Connected Kidz (Dr Robert Mellilo method) in Mackay, who is doing fantastic work with kids that are struggling with learning and behavioural difficulties.

I have stayed in caravan parks, free road side stops, permanent van parks, on busy streets and in people's front yards.

I have got bogged in Dirrinbandi and had to be winched out. I have sung a song with a couple of old dudes in a van park entertaining the grey nomads. I have walked miles to get food and groceries when my van is set up for the treatment and I can't drive anywhere for two weeks. I have caught lots of buses. I had been given lifts. I have been loaned a car to get me around. I have sat at length with some people who are having a real tough time in their lives. I have listened to many stories. I have been the recipient of much generosity. My life has been enriched by every story. Every connection made. From an old underground coal miner with black lung, to a man who was in palliative care preparing to die from multiple cancers, but received a miracle and lives to encourage others to life life generously. I hope I have been able to encourage some folk along the way as well.

I have had brief glimpses of a holiday, like a day or two here or there. On one of these days, I went snorkeling in the Whitsundays on a perfect day. Saw many whales, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, and lots of beautiful coral and fish, plus beautiful beaches and islands. Absolutely stunning!

As 2024 draws to a close, I am so grateful for the privilege I have to be able to do this work and have this experience. Thank you to all who have invited me and welcomed me into your lives. I am truly, truly so thankful for meeting you, and journeying with you even for a short time.

I am working with my last client atm before I head off on more adventures, but not Alison Lawson adventures this time. More of those in the future.

Have a wonderful 2025, when it rolls around shortly. May it be a year of great peace, joy and revelation of truth that brings much freedom and courage to step into new and greater things!
To infinity and beyond!! As Buzz Lightyear would say!
Warm Regards, Tracey xoxo

Hello Friends!

Hope all is well with you all, as we rapidly head towards the end of another year. Did your year go as fast as mine seemed to go?

Well, I'm back on the Sunny Coast until mid November after a great time bringing Alison's life changing treatment program to some wonderful people in Mackay, Moura and Bargara during the winter and early spring months. I so loved meeting so many new families, and to be able to work in different locations has been special, as well as travelling to explore places in between clients. I have learnt so much about the 'Van" life, but still have lots to learn!

If I could share one big thing I've learnt on "packing up and heading off this journey", it's that having things is not important, and shedding the burden that having things brings has been liberating for me. Things themselves have not been important to me, as I don't own any thing particularly valuable, but it's the memories attached to things that has been hard to separate from.
It was very emotional to get rid of a house full of memories, a Centre full of resources and an office full of records, to get down to one motor home and a 3 x 2 m storage unit. But I am so glad I did it! I didn't realise how much of a hold those things had on my heart and weighed me down, until I had to get rid of them. I have come to appreciate people on another level than I did before. The tough ones, the lovely ones, family, friends, all humans really. I so appreciate people!

I am so excited to have met lots of amazing parents and their beautiful children since being back on the coast who are stepping out to conquer the Visual Processing Impairment that has held them back in their reading and learning. Can't wait to see the great changes for each of them as they journey through Alison's program to successfully treat this inhibiting condition.
Cheering you all on! You are my heroes!!~

Anyway, love to hear from you and how things are going for you/your child if you'd like to share any testimonies from having done Alison's treatment. Have a truly blessed rest of the day!

Good Morning, Friends!

Hope all is well with you!

Just a short testimony from Mackay. A very bright 7 yo girl was struggling to read and decode words. Her poor spelling was not in line with her intellectual ability.

Towards the end of the 2 week treatment program, after lots of hard work, her reading has sky-rocketed to places that her Grandmother and Mum are surprised to see! She is reading much more easily and much more fluently, with understanding, as well as reading words we are all surprised she can read! As they are way more complex than she was able to read a few weeks ago!! Her spelling is starting to get some order in it, as she is learning the patterns of the building blocks of words.

Once the suppression was removed, she can then find out what she is really capable of! And she is now able to better reach her full potential! So, so proud of her and so excited for her! Her confidence is soaring! Can't wait to see what's ahead for her!

I am withholding her details for privacy reasons.

I have a few more lovely people to see in Mackay next week and onwards. Then back to Moura, Biloela, followed by Bundaberg, then 5 weeks on the Sunny Coast, from 12 October till mid November.

I probably won't be in this mid Queensland area again for quite a while after this, as I will be heading to Warwick then Darwin with other towns along the way.

So let anyone you know who might be interested in the assessment/ treatment program in these areas, and I'll do my best to get to them with Alison's life changing work!

Cheers! Tracey Xoxo

Btw, this is a picture of the pre sunrise yesterday. Beautiful, isn't it?

Hello Friends!

Just a little feedback from my first Alison Lawson Centre Sunshine Coast mobile trip to Moura.

Firstly, thank you so much to Moura Chiropractic for inviting me and hosting me in your rooms! What a wonderful, warm, caring and genuine holistic environment you have cultivated for the people of Moura! It was special to be a part of that, even for a short time! Trevor, Renee and Ruth, a heartfelt thank you to you!

Also, I soooo enjoyed the town and the wonderful people there. The people were friendly and genuine. Thursday night Family BBQ at the RSL was a winner to meet many locals. Thanks for the warm welcome!

The treatment program was undertaken by two extra special young men who pushed through many challenges. They inspire me with their persistence and courage, even though they wanted to give up when they were tired and things were tough for them. But they didn't quit! Yahoo! I celebrate them!!

I am currently on my way to Mackay to begin the treatment program there on Monday. I am looking forward to getting to be a part of the town for two weeks! Its a lot warmer up north than on the Sunny Coast! No jumper tonight!!

Stay tuned!! xoxo

Hi Friends! Well I'm finally on my way to my first official mobile 2 week treatment! After vehicle issues held me up, learning about new diesel engines and Adblue along the way, the adventure begins! Having lunch in Qlds's oldest town on the rainy journey, learnt I can't park in many spots with the motorhome, just parallel park on side streets, heading for Moura. If anybody knows anyone in the Theodore, Banana, Moura area who might be struggling with their reading/ learning, and might be interested in getting an assessment or to explore the treatment, let them know I'm in the area for 2 weeks and happy to connect with them.
Cheers!

Hello Friends!

Just wanted to share a few pics with you, to take you on the journey that The Alison Lawson Centre Sunshine Coast is stepping into.

The Centre at Nambour is now closed and empty. I already miss the precious folks- parents, children, teens, adults who want to read but haven't been able to- who have been such a part of the pioneering work at the Centre.

One thing I love about this work is getting to know families: going through the potholes, falling off the edge of the road at times, but getting back on, rejoicing in the courage and perseverance of children, parents and whoever comes to me, really, celebrating their successes, the positive change in them, with increased confidence and greater ease in their learning.
What a privilege to be invited in to their lives to journey through the valleys and the mountain tops!

You will notice some photos here. The first few, the Centre as it was, full of life and colour. 😀 The second, the Centre packed up, empty and devoid of life. :( And the third, the New Alison Lawson Centre Sunshine Coast, all my gear packed in the top of my motorhome ready to go on an adventure to whoever needs the benefits of Alison's life changing work!

Yahoo! First stop, Moura! See you soon! ;)

Hello Friends of The Alison Lawson Centre Sunshine Coast! Hope all is well with you!

It is with mixed emotions that I announce that the Centre at Nambour, which has been operating for the best part of 10 years, will no longer be operating from the end of June.

But it is not the end of this service to those who are struggling with their reading and learning, but the beginning of a whole new service that will now be mobile, travelling to virtually most locations in West and North Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia, if the demand is there. My heart is to offer help to those who have none. That have no services, due to their isolation, or just plain inaccessibility. If I can make a positive difference, I will do my best to get to you!

The Alison Lawson Centre Sunshine Coast will still offer services to those on the Coast, but it will be at specific times to be organised according to demand and the distribution of the need across the nation. So the availability, as such, will be more limited, as you can imagine covering a large area and the distances and time needed to traverse the country.

I will be very sad to say goodbye to particularly my regular tutoring kids, who are a select few that have stayed with me after treatment to further journey on the road to catching up on missed learning. I am so proud of each of them!! Mac, Moby, Allira and Paige, you are absolute legends, and conquerors over your struggles, going onward and upward into better things! I will miss you all terribly and the fun we have during our sessions together! Thank you for bringing so much joy to me by just being you!

So please pass the word around to those who you know might benefit from the Alison Lawson treatment program, wherever they may be. Lets see what happens from here on!! I'll keep you posted! :) Tracey xo
