Racing isn’t about beating people. It’s about beating the version of you that couldn't achieve that result yesterday.
Its always been the same, fighting, running, whatever.
Your only opponent is you.
The only opportunity is a win.
Cut out the BS and just focus on levelling up.
The win is inside, not on the podium ❤️
And I say that as someone who has had some big wins.
Sometimes the placing doesnt reflect the journey, and that goes both ways.
When I first started fighting i was an older girl (for the sport) and I was fighting some pretty amazing women. Skye Nicholson was my 9th fight 😬 it was her 60th 😬 (no spoilers i think you can guess it didnt go well 🤣)
BUT.
It was a massive win inside.
Bright was the same this year, lining up with athletes like Lucy Batholomew was intimidating! But its done now. I dont have to worry about being intimidated next year.
And performances like that, biting off way more than i can chew and throwing nyself in the deep end, are much bigger wins that a step on the podium or a medal.
They are more fulfilling than the events where you throw your name in knowing you are going to do well.
You ask more of yourself, extend yourself and level up.
And the just arent any better feelings than that.
So get out there.
Jump in.
Give it your all and win the fight inside, thats where the golds at really ❤️🥇

The face clients get when they spin their bu****it thinking Im going to believe their bu****it.
The only person stopping you from getting what you want is you, and its because of the bu****it story you keep telling yourself.
And Im no different! Ive got my own s**t to work on, but its always so much easier to smell someone elses bu****it than your own.
If you need someone to give you this face when you are spinning yourself bu****it as to why you can do the thing, Im here 🙂

Massive shout out to Fiona who is just absolutely on fire 🔥🔥🔥 at the moment!!
This week she punched out a 5 minute 9 second improvement on one of her workouts, which she last completed in just August 🤯🤯🤯🤯
That is just flipping insane!! 🤯🤯
Not only that, she also scored a 90 sec pb at parkrun this weekend 🤯🤯🤯
When she puts the hammer down, she puts the hammer down! Then all the good stuff happens ❤️💪👏👏👏👏👏
