After surveying Encore community, we found that families are keen on masterclass format for individual support, and more insight into student progress.

Welcome Performance Lab: a supportive step up program for committed performers who are ready to refine their solo performance skills in a focused, encouraging environment.

🎭 🎵 What to expect in Performance Lab:

* Individualised side coaching from Hannah in a masterclass setting


* Guided peer feedback to build confidence and performance awareness


* Timed solo performances aligned with Trinity College Exam / competition standards (if applicable)


* Written performance notes emailed weekly


* Techniques to manage nerves, focus and performance mindset


* Preparation support for Trinity College performance exams, HSC or competitions


* A supportive, high level environment for committed performers ready to step up

Performance Lab builds confidence, expressive skills, and performance literacy supporting students not just to perform well, but to grow as focused, self aware young artists.

Places are limited. Students considering Trinity College exams, auditions or competitions are encouraged to enroll.

FREE CREATIVE RECOVERY WORKSHOPS
We’re inviting Nambucca Valley community members to take part in a series of free creative recovery workshops.
These workshops offer a positive and supportive space to reconnect with others, share stories, and work together to create wearable art for the Nambucca Valley Open Streets Festival on February 14th.
Through hands-on making, participants will collaborate on creative pieces that celebrate resilience, connection and community spirit. No creative experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to take part.
Reconnect. Create. Celebrate Community. 

WHAT TO EXPECT
* Free, welcoming creative workshops
* A chance to connect with others in a supportive environment
* Meet your local Red Cross NV Emergency Services Team 
* Collaborative creation of wearable art pieces
* Opportunities to showcase work as part of the Nambucca Valley Open Streets Festival Parade on February 14th

✨ All performers here have a calling to create. The beauty of theatre making is that we engage the intellectual mind, a spectrum of emotions, as well as awaken the body in expression so, drama is a full experiential way of learning & creating.

Thank you for supporting us
in pursuing this calling to create.

The benefits are immense and ongoing.

When it comes to performing in front of an audience - that is just the cherry on top (for some). So performing is not the be all or end all - we experience golden moments in various forms week to week. ✨

Over the past weeks, youth group has been building confidence and creativity while learning hands-on skills in stage management, lighting, sound setup, and design. They’ve also come together as a full ensemble through collaborative music jams - supporting one another, trying new things, and discovering their strengths.

Tonight they were brave enough to invite close ones in to be an audience and witness:
- their setup and sound-check process
- their patter ( a yarn of stories between songs)
- their music jams (vocals and guitar)

✨ This is a supportive space where every young person’s contribution is valued. We’d love to celebrate their achievements together and encourage them as they continue their creative journey.

This is a glimpse into what we’ll be exploring more deeply next year!
