CLOSING DOWN TRAILERS

It's been a privilege to support our NDIS PARTICIPANTS over these past 8 months and watch them grow in confidence, but unfortunately we've been taking heavy losses to keep the work placement going 😢 💔. We don't want to jeopardise our overall NDIS business, so we were left with no real choice but to shut down.

We'll still be selling donuts every month at the Nanango Markets + operating out at Dead Cow Gully next year. Thanks for the overwhelming support from the community 🙏, but now we'll focus on the opening of our NEW OFFICE ON 49 DRAYTON STREET, NANANGO.

FALSE INFORMATION

We'd like to respond to the post made on SOUTH BURNETT COMMUNITY that they won't allow us to respond to.

It's outright false information that we are overcharging our NDIS PARTICIPANTS involved in the donut trailer. It's well known to our Nanango customers that our trailers are manned by one support worker, and one NDIS participant (1:1 ratio). The only exception to seeing more people in the trailer is a shift change, participants waiting to be picked up, or at Nanango Markets where we have either 2 support workers with 2 NDIS participants, or 2 support workers with 1 participant which is still a 1:1 ratio.

This 'anonymous account' is implying we run our operation with 5 people in the donut trailer which is absolutely ridiculous when considering we can barely cover the wages of two staff. When factoring in Work Cover + Superannuation payments, we're on track to make a $30,000 loss for the Workplace Program this financial year. We keep the program alive because it's the right thing to do ✅️

We encourage this person to remove the defamatory post and do something more productive with their time.
